About

I keep getting hassled by WordPress to edit my About Me page so that others can know all there is to know all the exciting things there is to know about me!!! I kinda feel that if you read my blog, you’ll eventually figure some of these things out, but here’s a few things to get started.

  1. I like making lists.
  2. I’m sarcastic, outspoken and sometimes enjoy stating the obvious.
  3. I often find myself arranging things in pairs or groups of three.

What you’ll find in this blog cannot be determined at this time, because it will most likely change frequently. Lately it’s been about the change that I recently made with my avatar. No, not ‘the change’ that middle age women go through, because we know that things like that aren’t something we have to worry about in a world where we perpetually look like we’re in our mid-to-late 20’s (unless we’re Nylon Pinkney). The change I am referencing is that I decided to stop hiding behind a Size 0 avatar and start looking more like the real me.

When I very first came to Second Life, I thought this was going to be my opportunity to be everything that I have never been able (or dared try) to be. That worked for a short time and eventually the real me started to come out, at least in personality. Why not let the entire real me come out, too? I’m taking the WYSIWYG approach, and if you don’t know what that means, then let me Google that for you.

So all this talk about the real me, and I haven’t really said much about myself, have I? How about some basics? I’m 31, I live in the great state of Tennessee, which is found in the United States if you’re like me and not geographically inclined. I work in tech support, but I’m better at the customer service side than the technical side…I think. I’m the rare person you call who actually cares about your problem (most of the time) and really do like working with people.

I don’t have kids, so if we’re ever in voice chat, you won’t hear kids screaming in the background, but you might hear barking dogs. However, I don’t use voice chat often, but it’s not because I’m a G.I.R.L. You see, my tech support job involves talking ALL.DAY.LONG on the phone, so once I leave the office, I don’t talk much. You’d think that I wouldn’t want to be on a computer after working with them all day, too, but I <3 my laptop!

So this has turned out to be ALMOST like a blog entry. If you’re still reading, then you MUST say hi to me, k?
